How to keep your community safe the topic of workshop tonight in Halton Hills

A meeting to promote safety in Halton Hills is being held tonight.
The Georgetown Community Safety Workshop is bringing together members of the Halton police, Halton Hills Fire Department and Halton Region Paramedic Service for an evening that promises to be full of information.
Among the planned events are:
- Safety workshops and seminars
- Emergency preparedness drills
- Community patrol programs
- Health and safety fairs
- Interactive sessions
- Discussion and feedback forums
The Workshop is being held Friday Sept 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Gellert Center, 10241 Eighth Line.
