Houses in Oakville, Burlington and Milton that just sold for less than $600k

While houses remain quite expensive in the Halton Region (and across the GTA overall), a few properties in Oakville, Burlington and Milton changed hands for under $600,000 last month.
Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa recently rounded up five properties that sold for well under the region’s average house price of $1,245,146 (all home types combined). According to the latest data from the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), the average house price in Halton is climbing, rising 1.2 per cent from $1,230,389 in August.
Here’s a look at five of the most affordable homes that recently sold in the region:
1) 409 – 1141 Cooke Blvd. in Burlington
This stacked townhouse condo, which spans up to 599 square feet of space, recently sold for $455,000 after being listed for $399,000. A bright unit with modern finishes such as laminate flooring and quartz countertops, the suite boasts one bathroom, one bedroom and one parking spot.
2) 5 – 2418 New St. in Burlington
This spacious condo, which spans over 800 square feet, recently sold for $400,000 after hitting the market at $409,000. The first-floor unit features two bedrooms, one bathroom, one parking spot and a renovated kitchen. The building is close to shops, dining and Burlington’s downtown core.
3) 104 – 1487 Maple Avenue in Milton
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom Milton condo spans about 600 square feet and boasts a private balcony that doesn’t overlook any car or foot traffic. The unit sold for $505,000 after being listed for $479,900. It features laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances and a four-piece bathroom.

4) 104 – 2010 Cleaver Ave. in Burlington
This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo in Burlington spans about 650 square feet. The suite sold for $475,000 after being listed at $494,900. The Forest Chase unit features an open-concept layout and a large bathroom with extra storage.
5) 517 – 3200 William Coltson Ave. in Oakville
This Oakville condo sold for $550,000 after being listed at $498,999. Modern and stylish, the 600+ square foot unit boasts one bedroom, one bathroom, one parking space, 10-foot ceilings and a “private backyard-style patio.” The suite also boasts an upgraded kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows.
