The sights and sounds of the holiday season will be on full display in Milton come December.
HolidayFest, hosted by the Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (BIA), will take place Saturday, Dec. 3 from noon to 6 p.m.
Presented on Main St., the event will feature a variety of activities for the family as well as live entertainment and vendors who will be selling food and holiday gift items.
One of the featured activities will be the Milton Winterhawks third annual three-on-three charity ball hockey tournament for Townsend Smith Foundation that will raise funds to build a hospice in north Halton.
As well, children will be able to visit and have pictures taken with Santa Claus and send him letters with their wish lists.
Other highlights include the Fireside Lounge where customers can warm up by a fire while enjoying the day as well as a dog training session where local experts will help you keep your pet well behaved.
The Milton Historical Society’s Christmas Extravaganza will also take place at Waldie’s Blacksmith Shop where ornaments, mugs, books and other gifts can be purchased, and where blacksmith demonstrations will be given.
Finally, throughout the day, a toy drive will be held where donations will be accepted to help out families with gift giving this year.
