Highway closure in Oakville results in ‘significant’ traffic delays

You might want to avoid driving on the eastbound QEW through Oakville Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 18).

Halton Regional Police have closed the QEW in the eastbound direction at Ford Drive along with the ramp due to an OPP investigation.

Drivers are being asked to please use alternate routes or avoid the area as the investigation continues.

Significant traffic congestion and delays are expected as a result of the closure.
