Here’s one way to show off your pride on Canada Day in Oakville, Burlington

Oakville North-Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos will be handing out free Canada Day lawn signs at 2525 Old Bronte Rd. today between 4 and 5 p.m. Residents can also pick up a free sign by emailing the local MPP.

Canada is celebrating its birthday and here’s a way residents in Oakville and Burlington can show their pride in this great country we call home.

Canada turns 156 years old on Saturday, July 1 and local  residents can pay tribute to the special day by picking up a free Canada Day lawn sign to post in their own front yard.

Oakville North-Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos and her team will be outside the Medical office at 2525  Old Bronte Rd. on Monday (June 26) handing out free signs Canada Day signs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents who can’t make it out can also get a free sign by emailing [email protected] or by calling 905-825-2455.

“Let’s showcase our community spirit in Oakville/North Burlington,” Triantafilopoulos tweeted out Monday.
