Head to Mountsberg in Milton for unique winter activities

If you’re looking for something unique to do after Christmas, Milton’s Mountsberg Conservation Area might have the perfect activity.

The annual Winterlit event gets underway Thursday, Dec. 28, bringing whimsy to your winter night with an award-winning display of outdoor lights.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a moonlit-stroll along two different trails, featuring sustainably-sourced, illuminated art installations.

Other features include:

  • Two twinkling, one-km trails, the Illuminated Sugar Bush and the Winterlit Trail
  • Fireside lounges located throughout the event
  • Board games and book swap available in the cozy Book Nook cabin
  • Learning about the animals that call Mountsberg home in ‘The Den’

Winterlit runs evenings between Dec. 28 and Jan. 7 (except Jan. 2) and then Friday to Sunday, Jan. 12 to Feb. 19.

Mountsberg Conservation Area is located at 2259 Milburough Town Line.

Tickets cost $22 for adults and $19 for children 5 and up for non-members and $16 for adults and $14 for children 5 and up for members.
