Head to Kerr Village in Oakville for 29th annual Christmas tree lighting event

The 29th annual Kerr Village Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony is taking place Sunday, Dec. 2.
The event will run from 2 to 7 p.m. and there will be activities all afternoon and evening:
- Vendor booths, 2-7 p.m.
- Victorian choir, 3 p.m.
- Santa and Mrs. Claus, 3:30-6:30 p.m.
- Circle of Harmony choir, 4 p.m.
- Holiday music by Suzie McNeil, 5 p.m.
- Tree lighting ceremony, 6 p.m.
Included in the festivities will be visits by seasonal characters, ballooning elves, Minions, and a digital photobooth.
The tree lighting event is being held at Westwood Park, on the corner of Kerr and Bond streets.
Suzie McNeil will be performing.
