Message from the Oakville & Milton Humane Society:
Thumper was surrendered to the Oakville and Milton Humane Society through no fault of his own. He is a happy go lucky bunny who loves to exercise. His foster home enjoyed building him little forts and Thumper would love to go through them, exploring all the new spaces and spots. He is a curious bunny with a zest for life who, when being active, will do a “happy jump” to let his family know he is enjoying himself!
Like many bunnies, Thumper loves to chew, dig and scratch but when in foster, he was provided chew toys and that would keep him busy for hours – and away from any furniture! He also enjoys quiet time and when the home is not too rambunctious.
INhalton's Editorial Standards and PoliciesThumper is social and enjoys the companionship of people. He is not too keen on being cuddled or handled; he prefers a gentle approach. He will come to you on his own and be happy to just hang out by your side. He especially loves when his humans feed him and clean his enclosure. Thumper really enjoys a clean space and in his foster home, he was quite happy with daily removal of droppings. He is currently not litter box trained but with patience and training, he has the potential to learn!
Thumper would make a lovely addition to a quiet, patient home that is looking for companionship and is able to give him lots of love and room to exercise!
