Halton Hills woman takes home $65,000 Lotto 6/49 jackpot

A woman from Halton Hills has won a Lotto 6/49 jackpot worth more than $65,000.

Christine Girling of Acton can won the Lotto 6/49 prize worth $65,741.90 in the May 8 draw.

The Classic Draw offers a fixed $5 million jackpot for every draw, while the Gold Ball Draw guarantees a $1 million prize, or the growing jackpot that starts at $10 million and can exceed $60 million.

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Stone Road in Guelph.
