With the warm weather upon us, the Town of Halton Hills released its road construction plan for 2020.
This spring, the Pavement Management Program will focus on upgrading roads in Georgetown. Also included in this year’s Roads Program will be bridge rehabilitation and improvements to select intersections.
“This is business as usual,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “Residents in the vicinity of the construction areas can expect some disruption but I would ask for your patience. It’s important that we complete these scheduled road construction projects now to support quality of life for years to come.”
Construction work is coordinated with work performed by the Halton Region in an effort to minimize the impact on residents.
Residents concerns about dust, noise, or other construction issues are asked to visit the town’s website for more information.
Construction delays by factors such as weather will be communicated to residents via hand-delivered notices, according to the Town of Halton Hills.
