UPDATE: Growing concern for missing person last seen leaving home in Oakville

UPDATE: Halton Regional Police Service say they have located Ira safe and in good health. Police are thanking residents and media for their support.

Police are asking for the public’s help in safely locating and bringing home a missing person from Oakville.

Halton Regional Police say Ira left her Oakville home at 11 p.m. Though her departure time is known, the specific day has not been provided.

Investigators describe as a white female with shoulder-length black hair and bangs. She has an average build and a Russian accent. She has green eyes but may sometimes wear blue contact lenses. She has no piercings but has razor-blade cuts on her legs.

Police say she was last seen wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, large black boots, a black backpack and a small bag over her shoulder.

Ira’s current location is believed to be in Toronto.
