Get your fill of strawberries at annual fundraising fair

Head over to Milton Fairgrounds next weekend for the 41st edition of the popular Strawberry Fair.

The annual event is held by the Milton District Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers as a fundraiser for the local hospital.

The event is being Saturday, June 24, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the highlight will be the strawberry tent, featuring cake, ice cream, fresh strawberries, and slushies.

Here are a few of the other highlights:

• Strawberry pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. while supplies last and barbecue lunch available at 11:30 a.m. thanks to The Optimist Club of Milton volunteers
• Live local entertainment stage all day hosted by Rockin’ Rob Hewlett
• Vendor marketplace
• Children’s area with fish pond, craft activities, sand pile, and bouncy castles. Princess Peach will also be present. There is a fee for the bouncy castles.
• Andrews Scenic Acres Farm and Market
• Car showcase
