Here’s your chance to enjoy a free Thanksgiving Dinner and help a worthy cause.
Oakville’s Mo’s Family Restaurant is hosting its 14 annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.
Up to 300 free three-course meals will be served with donations being accepted to support Oakville Meals on Wheels.
“Celebrate community, gratitude, and togetherness,” said the popular family restaurant, located at 467 Speers Road. “Mark your calendars, and let’s make this holiday season special—because family is who you share your table with.”
OMOW was established in 1976 and delivers care, connection, and community through its volunteer-based meal delivery service. They serve over 300 clients and approximately 2,100 meals and food items are brought to personal residences each month.
Ensuring that no one is isolated, hungry, or without human connection in the community
“Thanks to donors and community fundraising, we’ve helped thousands maintain their living independence and ease their isolation,” said the charitable organization.
Mo’s will also be serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner from Oct. 11 to 14 for $35 plus tax.
