G2 driver charged with stunt driving for second time in 6 months in Burlington

A driver that was recently stopped by police in Burlington has been hit with a second stunt driving charge within half a year.
On Tuesday afternoon, Halton Regional Police stopped a vehicle that was reportedly speeding on Brant Street at Havendale Boulevard and repeatedly changing lanes in close proximity to other vehicles.
While the vehicle’s speed wasn’t confirmed, police said it was a “marked departure from the lawful speed.”
The G2 driver was charged with stunt driving. Penalties for stunt driving include mandatory roadside licence suspension of up to 30 days and vehicle impoundment for up to 14 days.
The driver’s identity has not been disclosed by police at this time.
