Free bird-watching event scheduled for this weekend in Halton Hills

Bird watchers rejoice as the Town of Halton Hills has just announced a free event for bird enthusiasts.

In a post to X (formerly Twitter) it was announced that on Saturday, Oct. 26, residents will be allowed to gather outside of the Halton Hills Public Library and take part in a guided bird-watching seminar.

The ‘Learn about Birds Interactive Presentation’ is part of Halton Hills’s ongoing lecture series, a weekly event that brings in regional experts to highlight historical and natural aspects of the town and its surrounding areas.

The free session also supports both World Migratory Bird Day and Bird Friendly Halton Hills (a local conservation group) and is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. — coffee will be provided and residents are encouraged to bring their binoculars.

For more information on how to register for The Learn about Birds Interactive Presentation, visit the Town of Halton Hills’s official website.
