Four from Quebec face car theft charges after Oakville investigation

A stolen vehicle investigation by Halton police culminated in the arrest of four people from Quebec at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Monday, Feb. 19.

According to police, at about 8 p.m. on Monday, they showed up at the hospital’s parking garage while looking into the theft of a pair of Toyota 4Runners.

Following their arrival, they arrested four people.

Youssoupha Diop, 24, Raffaele-Giulio Draicchio, 25, Darcy Nicolas, 19, of Montreal and Pauline Kone, 21, of Deux-Montagnes have all been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break and enter tools, possession of automobile master key, and possession of device to obtain computer services.

All accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
