Former teacher faces indecent assault charges, more victims may be in Halton

A former teacher faces indecent assault charges in Quebec and there may be more victims in Halton.
Ronald Angelo Cecchini, 70, was arrested in June in Laval, Quebec and faces charges stemming from the early 1980s.
Between 1979 and 1982, Cecchini held a teaching position in an English-speaking primary school located in the Chomedey district, Laval Police said in a press release.
Multiple sexual acts were reported by students over a period of several years, police said.
Police suspect there could have been other victims.
Cecchini also allegedly taught in Ontario during his career.
Cecchini faces a charge of indecent assault and his case returns to the Court of Quebec on Nov. 8.
Halton Police asks people contact police with any information on this case.
