Flood watch in effect for Halton

As of 4:06 p.m., Environment Canada sent out an alert for the Halton region in relation to a flood watch.
As of 4:06 p.m., Environment Canada sent out an alert for the Halton region in relation to a flood watch.
According to the alert: “Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!”
Environment Canada urges residents to continue to monitor weather alerts as they happen. To report weather changes, residents can email [email protected] or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
