Fire Marshal investigating house fire in Milton

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a residential fire on Costigan Boulevard in Milton Monday night that had fire and police still on the scene for nearly 24 hours.

A dozen fire apparatus and 28 firefighters were needed to battle the blaze, with crews arriving to smoke already highly visible. There were no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters and investigators from the Fire Marshall’s Office are still on site.

The home was near Bruce Trail Public School but no other information was released by police.
