Fire engulfs multiple homes under construction overnight in Burlington

Firefighters remain on scene, after a fire broke out overnight along a street in Burlington where many houses under construction were impacted including nearby houses with occupants.

On Saturday (Aug. 19) Burlington and Oakville fire crew responded to a blaze at Palladium Way and Walkers Line, northeast of Dundas St.

Firefighters confirm that the fire affected multiple houses under construction in the area and some residences with occupants inside were exposed to the blaze.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.
Officials say, the Ontario Fire Marshal was also notified.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, including the extent in damages as the incident is still being investigated.
