Film shoot will close road in Burlington

A major road closure is anticipated to occur this weekend on King Road. 

According to information provided by the City of Burlington, King Road will be closed between North Service Road and Granite Ridge Trail on August 17, between 10 am and 10 pm. 

Additional details surrounding this closure indicate that this closure is the byproduct of a film shoot within the area. 

Signage will be displayed throughout the area as well as a police presence, to help commuters find alternative routes.

City officials have also indicated that local traffic will likely see delays of roughly five minutes due to the closure.
