Her name is synonymous with “style and grace” in fashion.

Now, Jeanne Beker is revealing who she is in an “all-new way.”

The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts presents In Conversation with. . .  Jeanne Beker at the AEG Liebherr Auditorium on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024, at 7 p.m.

The popular host of Fashion Television and The New Music has spent many years interviewing celebrities and now with the release of her book Heart on My SLEEVE, she reveals her favourite pieces of clothing and jewelry from what she calls a life well worn.

“This is not just a memoir but a wardrobe of memory,” reads the promotion for her special evening. “Jeanne walks us through her recollections of specific pieces of clothing and jewelry, precious items that have made an indelible impact on her.

“She invites readers to think more deeply about how what we wear—whether it’s a thrift-store find or high-end couture—acts as a touchstone to our most treasured recollections, reminding us of who we once were or of loved ones we hold dear.”

The special evening is being done in association with the Oakville Public Library and A Different Drummer Books.

Tickets are $15 each and $45 each with a copy of her book.
