Expect delays on Milton roads as sewer rehabilitation project continues

Several local roads in Milton will be impacted by a November sweep of storm sewer deficiencies.
Although the town said there will be no full road closures, lane closures may be required periodically to allow contractors to complete work. Local residents will receive a notice if a full closure is required.
“The Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project is required to complete the restoration of miscellaneous storm sewer deficiencies at multiple locations in town,” said a spokesperson.
“Storm Sewer rehabilitation related to the scope of this project plays an essential role in the general upkeep of town-owned assets and provides an increased return on investment for our residents. They are also essential in maintaining sewer function, ensuring adequate quantity control during storm events.”
Enhancements include rehabilitation of sewer pipe, maintenance holes and catch basins.
