Beginning in July, Oakville residents can once again take in the sweet sounds of band music while enjoying that cool breeze off of Bronte Harbour.

The Sounds of Summer with the Oakville Wind Orchestra returns July 4 and the free hour-long music concert will run every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. until Aug. 8 at Bronte Heritage Park.

Presented by the Bronte BIA, the evening of music is held under the Butterfly Gazebo, located at 2409 Harbour St.

Let the Oakville Wind Orchestra serenade the sunsets for another summer at the park. The group has been playing music since 1866.

“Bring a picnic, bring your four-legged friends, bring a frisbee or soccer ball, and enjoy a concert evening in the relaxed atmosphere of the waterfront,” said organizers. “The venue is completely accessible, and the relaxed atmosphere makes for a suitable environment for all audiences to come and enjoy the summertime and our music.”
