A pilot program launched by the City of Burlington will assist residents in finding financial benefits to make their homes more energy efficient.
Better Homes Burlington participants will be able to connect with experts at City Hall who can explain available options and incentives for those doing home upgrades.
City staff will be able to point homeowners in the direction of rebates and grants they may be able to obtain from businesses and different levels of government.
To take advantage of the pilot program or learn more about funding, visit burlington.ca/betterhomes or email [email protected].
According to the City, homes that are more energy efficient use less energy, save the homeowner money and produce less greenhouse gases.
“The Better Homes Burlington pilot program is one of the many ways the City is working with residents to reduce our collective greenhouse gas emissions,” explained Lynn Robichaud, Burlington’s manager of Environmental Sustainability. “Making your home more energy efficient is a win for everyone. Our coordinator is ready to help you with the process and including applying for the various financial incentives available.”
