Drug lab found in remote area of Burlington

A hidden drug lab in a remote area of Burlington has led to an ongoing investigation by Halton Police.

Several officers and police vehicles have been at the site which is located on Old York Road near Highway 6.

Police have revealed little information about the investigation but their heavy presence in the area has been noticed by area residents.

“We don’t know what’s going on but the cops have been out there a long time,” said one resident who lives in the area via social media.

Police have not announced any arrests and have not indicated what type of operation was being run out of the site

Aside from local police, members of the RCMP and the Burlington Fire Department have also been involved in the investigation.

Police are expected to release more details later.
