Drivers caught racing at 135km/h in Oakville face license suspensions

Two drivers were charged with reckless driving in Oakville earlier this evening (Oct 6).

According to Halton Regional Police, the drivers were seen racing each other at the speed of 135km/h in an area with a posted speed limit of only 60km/h.

As a result of their actions, both cars were immediately impounded for a period of 14 days and had their license suspended for 30 days.

They’ve also been asked to attend court to address their charges.
