Drivers beware: Week-long closure of major road in Milton

Drivers who regularly use First Line Nassagaweya in Milton will have to find another way next week.

The road, from No. 25 Side Road to No. 28 Side Road, will be closed to traffic from Monday, July 29, to Friday, Aug. 2, for culvert replacement.

Drivers will be able to avoid the area by using the detour route, Second Line between No 25 Side Road and No 28 Side Road.

The road will remain open for local traffic and no disruption to mail delivery or garbage pickup is expected.

During construction, the public is encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while travelling in and around construction areas.
