Driver clocked going 46 km over limit in Milton: Police

Halton police say a driver is facing Highway Traffic Act-related charges in connection with a speeding incident in Milton.
Police allege that an officer responding to speeding complaints clocked a driver travelling 106 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Tremaine Road, north of Lower Base Line.
Police say the incident happened this morning (Dec. 12).

The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
