Driver caught speeding in Oakville faces license suspension

A driver holding a G 2 licence(the second of two graduated licensing learning levels) was caught speeding by Halton Regional Police in Oakville this evening (Aug. 30).
Police say, that the driver was at a speed of 107 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The individual also ran a red light, before being stopped by the cops.
In light of the violations committed, the G2 driver’s license has been suspended for a period of 30 days.
Additionally, their vehicle has been impounded for a duration of 14 days.
The driver has also been summoned to appear in court.
