Downtown Oakville streets closed for road work beginning next week

The summer season is the typical time for road work and with that comes road closures that can make getting around town just a little more difficult and time consuming.

Beginning on Monday (Aug. 14), residents driving around downtown Oakville will have to take a bit of a different route and be patient through some possible delays as there will be a road closure at Dunn St. and Randall St.

The roads will be closed from Aug. 14 to Aug. 18. to allow for the installation of sanitary, storm and watermain services.

Dunn St. and Randall St. will be closed daily, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during work.

The detour route for the closed roads will be Trafalgar Rd., Church St. and George St.
