Doors Open Burlington takes place in August

Discovering first-hand the history, heritage, culture and natural resources of Burlington is part of the Door Open program that take place next month.

On Saturday, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you will be able to visit heritage sites, noteworthy buildings and other interesting locations free of charge as part of the event.

Some of the Burlington locations that will be part of Doors Open this year include Freeman Station, Kilbride United Church, Burlington Model Railway Club and Union Burial Ground, among others.

Many of the locations this year will offer special activities and behind-the-scenes tours.

More locations and activities will be announced in the days leading up to the event.
