Donations, volunteers needed at food banks in Milton

Many people are looking to give back to the Milton community this holiday season, but don’t really know where to start.

Whether it’s as simple as making a donation or something more intensive like volunteering, here is a list of organizations in Milton that operate a foodbank or community meal program on the Halton Community Services Directory.

Salvation Army, Khi Community

• Food for Life Program Thursdays noon to 1 p.m., operating as a drive-through program with no need to get out of your vehicle

Food for Life – Delivery Program

• available to those who are isolating/quarantined for medical reasons, and/or seniors who have been told to stay at home
• individuals are welcome to reach out to 905-635-1106, ext. 7, or email [email protected], where staff will discuss their situation, and direct them to the most appropriate food resource
