Oakville police burglars video suspects

A new video released by Halton Regional Police allegedly shows three suspects involved in an Oakville home burglary.

Police hope members of the public will recognize those in the video.

A surveillance camera took the footage from a home in southeast Oakville on Oct. 4.

Police say in the past several weeks Oakville has experienced multiple break-ins of a similar style.

The homes targetted usually back onto green spaces and the thieves gain entry by smashing through a rear sliding door. The break-ins usually occur during the day and early evening when the residents are not at home.

According to police, once inside the culprits look for jewelry, cash and expensive clothing.

Here are the descriptions of the suspects:

  • Man in his 30s, 5-foot-8, heavy build. Wearing black pants, orange long-sleeve shirt, black shoes, blue baseball hat, and orange gloves.
  • Man in his 20s, 5-foot-10, medium build, clean-shaven, short black hair. Wearing black shorts with white and red logo, grey t-shirt with large “True Rlgn” logo on the back, black shoes with white soles, and blue surgical gloves.
  • Man in his late 20s to early 30s, 6-foot, medium build, scruffy beard and dark hair. Seen wearing a dark blue hoodie, grey jogging pants, dark baseball hat, dark gloves, and carrying a black Helly Hansen duffle bag.
