Delays expected as section of major northeast Oakville road to be closed

Getting around Northeast Oakville over the next month may take a little more time and perhaps require a different route.

Local commuters will have to remain patient and expect possible delays as work in the area will result in Sixth Line being closed down between Threshing Mill Blvd. and Settlers Rd. E. beginning Thursday (Aug. 17) to Oct. 13.

The road will be closed until completion of service connection work in the area.

The detour route will be along Sixth Line, Dundas St. E., Trafalgar Rd. and Burnhampthorpe Rd.
