DAILY UPDATE: COVID-19 affects three more students at Burlington, Oakville, Milton schools on Oct. 28

The Halton Catholic District School Board is reporting three new COVID-19 cases, a closed classroom and an outbreak at Milton’s Holy Rosary Elementary School on Oct. 28.
This brings the total active infections to five at the board’s schools in Milton, Oakville, Burlington and Halton Hills, with three classrooms closed.
At the Halton District Public Board, there are still six active cases, unchanged from yesterday
When a classroom is closed, students are sent home to quarantine for at least 10 days and learn remotely.
As older cases are resolved, schools are removed from the listing.

Elementary
- Alexander’s: 1 case
- Holy Rosary (Milton): 3 cases, 2 classes closed
- Joshua Creek: 1 case
- Maplehurst: 1 case
- Oodenawi: 1 case
- St. Benedict: 1 case
- St. Gregory the Great: 1 case, 1 class closed
Secondary
- Abbey Park: 1 case
- White Oaks (South Campus): 1 case
