UPDATE: Crash blocks 3 lanes on QEW in Oakville

Update: Both vehicles were towed and the highway re-opened around 9:30 a.m., police said.

A disabled transport truck and crash blocked lanes on the QEW in Oakville Monday morning.
A transport truck lost its drive shaft and a vehicle struck it in the Toronto-bound lanes of the highway near Bronte Road, OPP said in a post on X at 8:19 a.m. on Monday.
No injuries were reported, police said.
Three lanes were blocked.
A heavy tow truck and regular tow were on the way to remove the vehicles, police said.
