Conservation Halton accepting old Christmas trees in Burlington

Conservation Halton is now accepting old Christmas trees which can be dropped off in Burlington this weekend.
This is being done in an effort to help restore the local environment with previously loved trees.
“Want your old Christmas tree to be used for creek restoration in your community? Bring it to Conservation Halton,” wrote Conservation Halton on Twitter.
As opposed to leaving the trees on the curb, Conservation Halton is encouraging the community to donate their trees to restore creeks and streams and improve the habitat for fish.
Conservation Halton will be accepting trees on Jan. 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 2596 Britannia Rd.
