Collision, disabled vehicle results in lane closures on Oakville highway

A collision on a major Oakville highway Tuesday evening (Oct. 22) is causing traffic delays.

The crash occurred on the westbound QEW at Dorval Drive around 7 p.m.

The OPP is currently on the scene of the incident.

“Please use caution,” police are suggesting to commuters travelling through the area on the highway.

The OPP says the left lane is currently closed.

There have been no reports of injuries.

A disabled vehicle on the eastbound QEW HOV lanes at Burloak Drive is resulting in major delays.

All eastbound lanes are currently closed.

Police are asking commuters to seek an alternate route.
