Collision closes all eastbound lanes on Burlington highway

A collision Monday afternoon (Sept. 30) on a busy section of Burlington Highway on Monday afternoon is causing major traffic delays.

The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on the on-ramp to Highway 407 east off the QEW eastbound.

All lanes on the eastbound Highway 407 are currently closed.

The cause of the collision is not currently known.

No injuries from the crash have been reported.

Commuters in the area are asked to seek an alternate route until the scene of the accident has been cleared.
