Clothes stolen from Halton Hills store, identity of man sought

The public’s assistance is being asked to help identify a man who allegedly stole $534 in clothing from a popular Halton Hills clothing chain.

Around 5 p.m. on April 19, 2024, Halton Regional Police say a male waled into the Polo Ralph Lauren store located at 13850 on Steeles Avenue and selected multiple Polo shirts.

He then placed them into an in-store tote bag and proceeded to walk out of the store, passing all points of purchase, without trying to pay.

The male culprit is described as between 30- and 40-years-old, with brown, short, and curly hair, and a full beard. He was wearing a dark green shirt with black pants and black athletic shoes and was sporting a winter coat.
