CLOSURE: Once the most popular restaurant in Milton is closing

A longtime downtown Milton restaurant is shutting its doors.
EddieO’s Pourhouse & Kitchen on Main Street is closing. A message posted on owner Eddie Oliveira’s personal Instagram page confirmed it.
“Dear Valued Guests. After much consideration, the family has decided to move forward, and it is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of EddieO’s. We are deeply grateful for the years of support. Thank you for being a part of our journey.”
The news of the closing was met with mixed reactions on social media, with many wondering why it took so long for the place to finally close.
In June, 2023, Oliveira was found guilty of assault, sexual assault and uttering threats to cause bodily harm. He was sentenced to house arrest for two years less a day, his freedom being severely restricted.
There was no firm closing date posted nor any indication of what might replace the restaurant at 370 Main St. E.
