The City of Burlington is seeking public input on a rezoning application for a plot of land on Appleby Rd., south of Mainway.

A public meeting about the application, which is for 5030-5045 Tico Creek Common was held last August.

The developer, Wellings Planning, wants a change in the zoning bylaw to allow more retail space in a planned commercial plaza.

The official request is to allow an increase in the maximum gross floor area for mixed-use buildings and fast food restaurant use as well as to expand retail permissions for the two proposed single-storey buildings.

Written comments about the application can be sent to [email protected] and need to be submitted by Feb. 25.
