Car crashes into Burlington animal hospital

No animals were injured when a car crashed into a Burlington animal hospital

A car crashed into the side of a Burlington animal hospital this morning (Oct. 17) causing minor injuries.

According to Halton police, the incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. at VCA Canada Bay Cities Animal Hospital at Roseland Plaza on New St. at Guelph Line.

Reports say two people who worked in the building were taken to hospital and treated for their injuries which were considered minor.

No animals were injured and the clinic remains open with all scheduled treatments going ahead as planned.

Police are still investigating but no charges have been filed.

This is the second time in the past four years that a vehicle has crashed into a building at the plaza.

During the previous incident, the driver of the vehicle was killed.
