Burlington Transit adds more buses to popular routes

Burlington Transit is increasing the service on several well-travelled bus routes.

Beginning Sept. 3, more frequent trips will be found on the following routes:

• Route 1 Plains Rd.
• Route 2 Brant St.
• Route 3 Guelph Line
• Route 12 Upper Middle Rd.

According to the transit service, Route 1 will arrive at stops every 12 minutes between the morning and afternoon peak periods.

For Routes 2 and 3, travellers will be picked up every 15 minutes during the day and then every 30 minutes in the evening.

On Route 12 the bus will arrive at stops every 30 minutes all day, every day.
