Burlington Skyway lanes blocked by collision
Published May 4, 2022 at 10:08 pm
Late-night traffic on a major highway in Burlington and Hamilton was backed up by a crash late Wednesday night.
Ontario Ministry of Transportation real-time data showed that the leftmost lanes on the Fort Erie-bound Queen Elizabeth Way highway are blocked at the Burlington Skyway bridge. The blocked lanes are the result of a collision.
The lanes reopened at 10:08 p.m., but the delay may have caused some bottlenecking along what is one of Southern Ontario’s busiest highways.
