Burlington hospital hosts virtual information session for prospective volunteers
Published November 9, 2021 at 3:21 pm
Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington is currently seeking volunteers who are available to work during the day.
Prospective volunteers must attend one of the hospital’s mandatory information sessions, either Nov. 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. or Nov. 16 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Volunteers need to apply online prior to attending a session.
Volunteers are screened and selected to ensure the best fit between the needs of the hospital and the skills and interests of the volunteer.
Following the information session, prospective volunteers will meet with the volunteer coordinator to discuss potential fits.
If you’re selected, you’ll have to provide a police background check as well as submit a health form that lists up-to-date vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, TB, varicella and COVID-19 (second dose received at least two weeks prior).
For more information or questions, visit the hospital website of contact Carolann Badger, coordinator, Volunteer Resources, at 905-632-3737, ext. 1314
