Burlington home raided, man charged with fentanyl trafficking

A 32-year-old Burlington man is facing several charges related to fentanyl trafficking.

A 32-year-old Burlington man is facing several charges related to fentanyl trafficking.

The Halton Regional Police Service says it concluded a two-week drug trafficking investigation, leading to the arrest of Brandon Stoddard.

He’s charged with:

  • Trafficking (Fentanyl)
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (Codeine)
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Breach of Release Order (2 Counts)

On Wednesday (Aug. 19), investigators with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue and K9 units raided a residence in Burlington, seizing:

  • 5 grams of Purple Fentanyl
  • 100 ml of Codeine
  • 2 Digital Scales
  • 5 Cellular Telephones
  • 12 inch Knife
  • $380.00 Canadian Currency

$11,150 worth of drugs were seized as a result of the search warrant, said police.
