Burlington home raided, man charged with fentanyl trafficking

A 32-year-old Burlington man is facing several charges related to fentanyl trafficking.
A 32-year-old Burlington man is facing several charges related to fentanyl trafficking.
The Halton Regional Police Service says it concluded a two-week drug trafficking investigation, leading to the arrest of Brandon Stoddard.
He’s charged with:
- Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Codeine)
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Breach of Release Order (2 Counts)
On Wednesday (Aug. 19), investigators with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue and K9 units raided a residence in Burlington, seizing:
- 5 grams of Purple Fentanyl
- 100 ml of Codeine
- 2 Digital Scales
- 5 Cellular Telephones
- 12 inch Knife
- $380.00 Canadian Currency
$11,150 worth of drugs were seized as a result of the search warrant, said police.
