Booze available next week at more than 20 convenience stores in Milton

More than 20 convenience stores in Milton will be selling liquor beginning next week.

First announced last spring by the Doug Ford provincial government, convenience stores in Ontario that have been granted a licence will begin selling alcohol on Thursday, Sept. 5.

Approved locations will be allowed to sell beer, wine, cider and coolers, joining grocery stores, the Beer Store, the LCBO, and other specialty shops.
